Hence, it is necessary to include it into risk analysis of these plants. Three approaches of quantitative risk analysis of plants handling explosives are described and their comparison how it includes sympathetic detonation is carried out. Benefits and disadvantages of individual approaches are also presented. Description of these approaches shows that the possibility of sympathetic detonation is not resolved satisfactorily.
