Autoři se orientovali na komplexní přístup analýzy dat technikou výkonných statistických metod a zjišťování statistických zvláštností, pokrývajících širokou škálu aplikací v analytické chemii, biologii, medicíně, vědách o materiálech, farmaceutických přípravcích a take v technických oborech. Text kapitol je ilustrován prostřednictvím řešených problémů nebo mnoha řešených úloh s podrobným vysvětlením výsledků počítačových výstupů. Kniha pokrývá velké množství praktických příkladů (více než 1250) ze všech hlavních odvětví přírodní vědy, medicíny a techniky. Data všech úloh jsou na přiloženém CD s kódováním: B značí biochemii, biologii, medicínu a farmakologii, C pak všechna odvětví chemie, E je pro environmentální analýzu, zemědělství, potravinářství, lesnická data, H značí metalurgii, mineralogii a geologii a konečně S znamená společenské vědy, psychologii a ekonomiku. Databáze všech 1250 úloh byla shromážděna v průběhu 20 let z kontrolních laboratořích různých výzkumných ústavů v České a Slovenské republice. eng	Statistical Data Analysis: A Practical Guide with 1250Exercises and Answer Key on CD	Over the past decades, the computer supported data analysis by statistical methods has been one of the fastest growth points in chemometrics, biometrics and other related branches of natural, technical and social sciences. This has been particularly strongly catalysed by the development and proper combination of exploratory data analysis, testing assumptions about data, model and statistical methods and computer intensive techniques. The book represents a combination of full description of individual topics with solved problems and collection of experimental tasks. Methods suitable for extreme or small and large datasets are described. The interpretation of results is based on the comprehensive information about data behaviour and validity of used assumptions. The activities of authors were oriented to the complex approach to data analysis by using of powerful statistical methods and recognition of data peculiarities, covering a large variety of applications, such as analytical chemistry, biology, medicine, material science, pharmaceuticals and technical disciplines. The text will be illustrated via solved problems or case studies and many solved exercises with detailed explanation of results and computer outputs. The book is covering large number of practical examples (more than 1100) from all major branches of natural science, medicine and technology. The datasets for all exercises are collected on enclosed CD with special coding: B means biochemistry, biology, medicine and pharmacology, C means all branches of chemistry, E means environmental analysis, agriculture, food analysis, forest analysis, H means metallurgy, mineralogy and geology, S means social sciences, psychology and economy. This database of all 1100 exercises was collected within 20 years and taken from control labs of various research institutes in Czech and Slovak Republics.
