eng Influence of Reaction Conditions on Size and Morphology of Nano-Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles of hydroxyapatite are particularly attractive materials for bone and dental implants because they resemble a mineral of human teeth and bones and they have proved to be biologically compatible with these tissues. Hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were synthesized by wet chemical precipitation method. Influence of temperature, speed of stirring and addition of initial solution on morphology and size of nano-hydroxyapatite was studied. The crystal morphology and particle size were observed by atomic force microscopy and X-ray disc centrifuge system. X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were used for studying composition and chemical structure.
