K vyhodnocení experimentů získaných za ustáleného stavu byly použity základní transportní charakteristiky, tj. výtěžek kyseliny a koeficient rejekce soli. Kromě toho byl dialyzační proces charakterizován koeficientem permeability membrány pro Cl– ionty. Koncentrace kyseliny chlorovodíkové a chloridu draselného v nástřiku byly měněny v mezích od 0,1 do 1,0 kmol m–3. Kromě dialyzačních experimentů s roztoky obsahujícími HCl a KCl byly realizovány i experimenty s jednou složkou, tj. HCl nebo KCl. Objemové průtoky vstupujících proudů byly měněny v mezích od 8×10–9 do 24×10–9 m3 s–1. Bylo zjištěno, že za daných podmínek je výtěžek kyseliny v mezích od 63 % do 95 % a a rejekční koeficient je v mezích od 0,59 do 0,91. Maximálního výtěžku kyseliny bylo dosaženo při nejnižším objemovém průtoku nástřiku, nejnižší koncentraci kyseliny a nejvyšší koncentraci soli v nástřiku. Maximální rejekce soli bylo dosaženo při nejvyšším objemovém průtoku nástřiku a nejnižších koncentrací kyseliny a soli v nástřiku. Experimentálně bylo prokázáno, že dialyzační proces lze kvantifikovat jedinou transportní charakteristikou, tj. koeficientem permeability membrány pro Cl– ionty, který je závislý na objemovém průtoku nástřiku a koncentraci kyseliny a soli v nástřiku. Permeability of anion-exchange membrane for Cl– ions The simultaneous transport of hydrochloric acid and potassium chloride through an anion-exchange membrane Neosepta-AFN was investigated in a counter-current continuous dialyzer for various acid/salt concentration ratios and volumetric liquid flow rates. The basic transport characteristics — the acid recovery yield and the rejection coefficient of salt — were evaluated from the measurements at steady state. Furthermore, the dialysis process was characterized by the permeability coefficient of the membrane towards to Cl− ions. The initial hydrochloric acid concentration in model mixtures was changed in the limits from 0.1 to 1.0 kmol m–3 and that of potassium chloride was changed in the limits from 0.1 to 1.0 kmol m–3. Beside the dialysis experiments with HCl+KCl mixtures, also experiments with single component solutions were carried out. The volumetric liquid flow rate of the inlet streams was in the limits from 8 ×10–9 to 24 ×10–9 m3 s–1. Under the experimental conditions given, the acid recovery was found to be in the limits from 63 % to 95 % and the rejection coefficient was in the range from 59 % to 91 %. The maximum acid recovery can be reached at the lowest volumetric liquid flow rate of the feed, the lowest initial acid concentration and the highest initial salt concentration. The maximum rejection of salt can be reached at the highest volumetric liquid flow rate of the feed and the lowest initial acid and salt concentrations. It was proved that the dialysis process can be quantified by the single transport characteristic, i.e., the permeability coefficient of the membrane for Cl– ions, which is dependent upon the volumetric liquid flow rate, acid and salt concentrations in the feed.
