The composition Ge(28-x)Ga(x)S72 with x=0 and 6 was chosen from system Ge-Ga-S for its interestin physico-chemical properties. The thin films were prepared by PLD method. The substitution of Ge by Ga leads into the increase of the refractive index and the red shift of short wavelengthcut-off edge.
