This work is aimed to explore synthetic applications of some ?push-pull? polarized ethylenes for building various heterocyclic rings. The work follows previous methods and brings improved techniques for the preparation of the heterocyclic compounds with both electron-accepting and electron-withdrawing substituents. Some new polysubstituted 1H-pyrazolcarboxylic acid methyl esters have been successfully prepared in moderate yields. The reaction leading to fused tricyclic N-containing heterocycles is now investigated. It is expected that those derivatives could have an anti-bacterial or anti inflammatory effects.	polarized ethylenes; synthesis; heterocycles
