eng 2-Aminopyrene-based bichromofores: Synthesis and photophysical properties Recently, we have completed the synthesis and the study of photophysical properties of symmetric and asymmetric bi- and trichromophoric compounds of D-S-A type as a model system for the study of excitation energy transfer (EET). Donor (D) and acceptor (A) of ET are represented by various polyaromatic amines; the spacer (S) is s-triazine ring. In this paper, we report two different types (3-aminoperylene/3-aminobenzanthrone) of ET acceptor in a single molecule containing 2-aminopyrene moiety as a donor of ET and s-triazinyl ring as a spacer. 2-Aminopyrene-based bichromofores; photophysical properties
