eng The role of the secondary amino group in photophysics of N-triazinyl-9-aminoanthracene derivatives As the necessary background, the photophysical properties of single-chromophoric N-triazinylated derivatives of the mentioned arylamines were studied in dependence on the electron donating/withdrawing character of the remaining substituents on the triazine ring and on the solvent polarity. It has been found that, in contrast to other chromophores, the derivatives of 9-aminoanthracene exhibit remarkable two-exponential fluorescence decay kinetics. secondary amino group; photophysics; N-triazinyl-9-aminoanthracene derivatives
