eng	Study of nitrogen oxide atmosphere on aging process of porous materials on cellulose and lignocellulose base	The aim of this work is to study the effect of the atmosphere made up of nitrogen oxides to the aging of samples of cellulosic and lignocellulosic-based porous materials. Samples were exposed to the atmosphere for a predetermined period. Mechanical and optical properties of samples were measured before and after exposure and the results were compared. Measurements showed that the mechanical properties of pulp samples are deteriorated, the optical properties are, however, after exposure to pollutant atmosphere improved.	paper aging; nitrogen oxides; pulp; degradation of cellulose
