eng Tin (II) and tin(IV) guanidinato complexes The nucleophilic addition of stannylenes (especially of the Lappert´s type) to starting N,N´-disubstituted carbodiimides via delocalization of ?-electrons over the whole fundamental NCN skeleton of the guanidinato unit is known1. These tin containing compounds can be used in further reactivity, for example oxidative addition on the metal center2, substitution of ligands and many many others. The modern and sophisticated application is an activation of small (or larger) molecules by the help of formamidinato-/amidinato-/guanidinatotin cycles as a substrate.1 The characterization of synthesized compounds was realized by XRD techniques and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy.
