eng	Group 11 Metal Complexes of Novel NHC Ligands	N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) have been known since the late 1960s when the pioneering works of Öfele and Wanzlick were published. But the real breakthrough which lead to the extended research in this area was the synthesis of stable free carbene by Arduengo in 1991. the same author was also the first one to report on stable NHC of silver and copper. The presented work is focused on preparation and structural studies of various coinage metal complexes stabilized by novel hybrid NHC ligands.
