eng Lithium Amidinates and Guanidinates Containing a Pendant Donor as Precursors for Group 14 Metal Complexes Guanidinates [(RN)2CNR´2]? (R, R´ = alkyl, aryl, silyl etc.) and amidinates [RNC(R')NR]? are monoanionic fourelectron ligands. Advantages of both ligands are electronic and steric properties which can be modified by varying the substituents both at the N atoms and the central C atom [1,2]. These ligands can be used for synthesis of coordination complexes involving metals from across the periodic table. They are supposed to be used as catalysts in synthetic organic chemistry as well as material precursors for ALD and MOCVD [3]. The main goals of this work was preparation of the new lithium amidinates and guanidinates containing pendant donor group - 2- (N,Ndimethylamino- methyl)phenyl-. The reactivity of these lithium complexes with metal halides of group 14 will be disussed. Lithium; Amidinates; and; Guanidinates; Containing; Pendant; Donor; Precursors; for; Group; Metal; Complexes
