eng New Lithium Complexes Containing Guanidinato Ligand Guanidinate anions have the general formula [(RN)2CNR´2]? (R, R´ = alkyl, aryl, silyl etc.) and represent a class of compounds, which is known in the literature for a long time and can be prepared by a variety of reaction way. The obvious advantages of these ligands are easily modificable electronic and steric properties by varying the substituents on all N atoms. These ligands can be used for synthesis of complexes involving metals from across the periodic table.1,2 They are supposed to be used as material precursors for ALD and MOCVD as well as catalyst in synthetic organic chemistry.3 The main goal of this work was the preparation of both mono and doubly deprotonated lithium guanidinates containing the pendant donor group LCN: 2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl- and bulky LDipp: 2,6-(diisopropyl)phenyl- substituents. The structure and properties of these complexes will be disussed. New; Lithium; Complexes; Containing; Guanidinato; Ligand
