eng TEST OF REPRODUCIBILITY OF ONE POT VOX-SBA-15 CATALYST SYNTHESIS The great challenge in modern chemical industry is a transformation of cheap and abundant C2-C4 alkanes to corresponding alkenes. A good example of such new promising process could be oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of light alkanes. However, the direct using of ODH is still not possible due to low alkene selectivity and productivity. Therefore, it is important to develop new catalysts with high performance. It was observed1 that isolated tetrahedrally coordinated OVO3-SiO2 species play the role of most active and selective catalytic side in the n-butane oxidative dehydrogenation. Hence it is plausible the preparation of materials with the surface concentration of these species as high as possible. Methodology of the preparation of the catalyst is very important factor which strongly affects its catalytic activity. Major disadvantage of frequently used wet impregnation method is that samples with a broad spectrum of surface vanadium species are produced and catalytically active isolated VOX species are generated only for samples with less than 5 wt.% of vanadium. A direct one-pot mesoporous vanadosilicate preparation can bypass this limitation but parameters which control the characteristics of resulting materials are still not well understood. Hence, the next improvement of this methodology of catalyst preparation is necessary. We report results of characterization and catalytic tests obtained over set of one-pot synthesized VOx-SBA-15 samples in this contribution with aim to study the reproducibility of their preparation. The set of five catalysts with mol ratio Si/V = 10 was prepared by one-pot synthesis. Catalysts were prepared in acid solution from triblock copolymer P1323 as SDA, tetraethylortosilicate and ammonium metavanadate as source Si and V, respectively.
