eng The structural and surface properties of cellulosic materials The aim of this study was to study the structural and surface properties of the cellulosic materials. For the experiment were used three different types of oxycellulose. Oxycellulose is a very important substance with a relatively wide range of applications. Notable are above all its absorption properties and is mainly used in medicine as absorbable haemostatic material to stop bleeding. To study these properties of porous materials is measured using the kinetics of condensation, which was observed in the kinetics of wetting and absorption of the vapour of organic liquids. It records the weight gain of samples depending on the time of wetting. Evaluation of the measured values using a mathematical model MMF affording characteristic constants and help be calculated structural and surface properties of samples such as adhesion and surface tension, porosity, median pore size and compactness, etc. Measurements were carried out at three different temperatures, in order to verify temperature dependence of the observed structure-surface parameters. oxycellulose; moistening process; structural properties; porosity
