eng Terbium Doped Strontium Stannate- a Potential Yellow Shade Inorganic Pigment The aim of the thesis was to propose, verify and elaborate the optimal conditions of the synthesis of pigments described by general formula SrSn1-xTbxO3±δ, where x = 0.1 to 0.5. The main attention was focused on finding of such synthesis conditions, which will lead to formation of pigments with saturated yellow tint. The pigments were synthesized by three methods. The most common method of synthesis of inorganic pigments is the ceramic method that encompasses the solid state reaction of relevant metal oxides during high temperatures. The second method of synthesis was the mechanoactivation of initial precursors and subsequent heating in an electric furnace at high temperatures. The third used method was the suspense mixing of precursors and their subsequent heating in two steps. Ceramic Pigments;Solid State Reaction;Yellow Pigments
