Tento tridentátní ligand poskytuje dva druhy komplexů. Neutrální komplexy [(eta(3)-C3H5)M(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-tpm)Cl] (M = Mo, W) byly izolovány z nevodného prostředí, zatímco z vodného byly získány kationtové komplexy. Tato studie rovněž zahrnuje modelové systémy s bidentátními ligandy: bis(pyrazolyl)methan (bpm) and bis(1,3-dimethylpyrazolyl)methan (Me(4)bpm). Připravené komplexy byly charakterizovány infračervenou spektroskopií. Struktury komplexů [(eta(3)-C3H5)Mo(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-bpm)Cl], [(eta(3)-C3H5)Mo(CO)(2)(kappa(3)-tpm)][PF6], [(eta(3)-C3H5)W(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-Me(4)bpm)Cl] a [(eta(3)-C3H5)W(CO)(2)(kappa(3)-tpm)][PF6] byly určeny rentgenovou diffrakční analýzou. eng Allyl molybdenum(II) and tungsten(II) compounds bearing bidentate and tridentate pyrazolylmethane ligands This study describes reaction of allyl molybdenum and tungsten complexes [(eta(3)-C3H5)M(CO)(2)(NCMe)(2)Cl] (M = Mo, W) with tris(pyrazolyl)methane (tpm). This tridentate scorpionate ligand produces two types of products. The neutral kappa(2)-complexes [(eta(3)-C3H5)M(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-tpm)Cl] (M = Mo, W) were isolated from non-aqueous media while an aqueous work up gives the cationic kappa(3)-complexes [(eta(3)-C3H5)M(CO)(2) (kappa(3)-tpm)](+) (M = Mo, W). The coordination mode of the tridentate ligand was resolved by H-1 NMR spectroscopy. This study further covers the model systems with the bidentate ligands bis(pyrazolyl)methane (bpm) and bis(1,3-dimethylpyrazolyl)methane (Me(4)bpm). All compounds under the study were characterized by the infrared spectroscopy. The structures of two molybdenum compounds [(eta(3)-C3H5)Mo(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-bpm)Cl], [(eta(3)-C3H5)Mo(CO)(2)(kappa(3)-tpm)][PF6]center dot CH2Cl2 and two tungsten compounds [(eta(3)-C3H5)W(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-Me(4)bpm)Cl], [(eta(3)-C3H5)W(CO)(2)(kappa(3)-tpm)][PF6]center dot CH2Cl2 were determined by the X-ray diffraction analysis.
