eng Volatmmetric determination of lead and cadmium in selected sediments at the glassy carbon electrode modified with bismuth nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes A new type of bismuth electrode based on the glassy carbon surface modified with bismuth nanoparticles and multiwalled carbon nanotubes is proposed for the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions at the µg L-1 concentration level in combination with square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry. Key operational parameters nwere optimized. The electrode of interest exhibited well-developed signals and pretty linear calibration plots for both metal ions tested in the concentration range from 5.0 to 50.0 µg L-1. The applicability of the new electrode was demonstrated on the analysis of sediments collected at Great Bačka Canal.
