eng Investigation of (1-x)(50PbO-20B2O3-30P2O5)-xMoO3 glasses Lead borophosphate glasses of the composition (1-x)[50PbO-20B2O3-30P2O5]-xMoO3 with 0-70 mol% MoO3 were investigated. Thermal studies were carried out by DTA, dilatometry and hot-stage microscopy. Glass transition temperature in these glass series decreases with increasing MoO3 content. Glass structure was studied by 11B MAS NMR and Raman spectroscopy. These studies were devoted to the investigation of changes in boron coordination in the dependence on changes in MoO3 content and in the B2O3/P2O5 ratio in the lead borophosphate glasses. The effect of composition on the properties of these glasses and the relations between composition, structure and properties were evaluated.
