eng Structure and properties of GeO2 modified lithium phosphate glasses Lithium phosphate glasses doped by GeO2 were prepared in two compositional series: 50Li2O-(50-x)P2O5-xGeO2 with x=0; 5; 10; 15 mol% GeO2 (A series of glasses) and 40Li2O-(60-y)P2O5-yGeO2 in a concentration range of y=0-30 mol% GeO2 (B series of glasses). Glasses were characterized by the measurements of density, molar volume, chemical durability and refractive index. The structure of glasses was investigated by 31P MAS NMR and Raman spectroscopy. Their thermal properties were studied by differential thermal analysis and thermodilatometry. phosphate glasses; GeO2; structure; properties
