eng Ni-alumina catalysts in oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane and enhanced catalytic behavior after cerium addition The current work deals with oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane over Ni-catalysts promoted by Ce. The catalysts were prepared by impregnation of commercial alumina or Al-Ce-O mixed oxides prepared by co-precipitation and sol-gel method. For characterization was used XRD, H2-TPR, DR UV-Vis spectroscopy. The reaction was take place in quartz flow-through reactor. The catalyst was diluted with SiC. Composition of reaction feed was 7.5 % C2H6, 2.5 % O2 and 90 % He, with total flow 100 ml.min-1. Ni-alumina; catalysts; oxidative dehydrogenation; ethane; Ce addition
