eng	Determination of basic sites at Mg/Al mixed oxides catalysts	The goal of this work is to determine the concentration and strength of basic sites in Mg-Al mixed oxides by combination of calorimetric adsorption of CO2, TPD of CO2, FTIR spectra after CO2 adsorption and Hammett titration method. We mainly focused on the systematic comparison of the determination of basic sites by individual techniques. Mg/Al mixed oxides represents attractive catalysts in many base catalysed organic reactions such as transesterification and aldol or Knoevenagel condensation.
