Language Name Abstract Keywords
eng Mg/Al mixed oxides catalysts - structure and basicity Mg/Al mixed oxides with different Mg/Al molar ratio (from 1.8 to 3.7) and temperature of pre-treatment (450 – 1100 °C) were synthesized by thermal pre-treatment of hydrotalcite-like precursors and used as catalysts for transesterification of rapeseed oil. The goal of work is to study the influence of Mg/Al molar ratio, thermal pre-treatment and process of catalyst preparation (Mg/Al-Na, Mg/Al-K, Mg/Al-NH4, Mg/Al-urea) on total concentration of basic sites, crystallite size of MgO and specific surface area and yield of esters. The relation among variables was described by statistical analysis (principal component analysis and the correlation matrix). Mg/Al mixed oxides; catalyst; basicity; hydrotalcit; transesterification
