Their effect on improvement of several properties of polymeric systems were studied. The surfaces of ZnO particles were modified by molecules tailored for each polymeric system. The surfaces were modified in-situ or by post-synthesis. The special modifiers were attached to the surface of the nanoparticles by physical or chemical bonds.
