eng Synthesis and characterization of covalently bonded stabilizer on high impact polystyrene The presented work deals about covalent linkage stabilizers against photooxidative degradation of the structure of the polymer. [1] The concentration of low molecular weight commercially antidegradants added in a polymer can decrease with time, mainly due to extreme conditions such as high temperatures, exposure to liquids that cause leaching or evaporation of small molecules or mechanical stress. [2] In this experiment was selected as the polymeric matrix commercially available high-impact polystyrene, to which was stepwise bound selected UV stabilizer. The compounds prepared were characterized in individual steps of the synthesis by elemental analysis, 13C NMR and 1H NMR and gel permeation chromatography. Further, the fluorescent label are established and have been investigated its UV / VIS absorption and fluorescence spectra in 1,4-dioxan and in the solid phase. Were prepared coatings, which were subjected to accelerated aging in a QUV panel for 800 hours. The results show the covalent linking of the stabilizer to the polymer. stabilizer; fluorescence; antidegradant, HALS; UV/VIS
