eng Operative Temperature Simulation of Enclosed Space with Infrared Radiation Source as A Secondary Heater The article describes two modes of heating in an ordinary room with two internal heat sources, the first one supplying the heat continuously and the second one maintained by the occupant. In the first mode should the thermal comfort ensure the primary heater, while the second mode represents additional effect of radiative heat transmission which causes asymmetrical thermal sensitivity of the occupant. The late description of both heat sources acting simultaneously is well known and evaluated (for inst. [1], [2]). The outcome depends significantly on the space geometry, the relative source location and other factors which are used to express the thermal imbalance. The comparison of both heating modes shows operative temperature differences in vertical direction and proposes the parameter of radiant temperature asymmetry as corrective outcome for power readjustment of both heaters. The more effect of radiative transmission, the more non uniformity in the thermal radiation field occurs and the sensitivity shows the operative and global temperature as well. The range of two magnitudes of radiative temperature and indoor air temperature with the third additional factor, the local air velocity, are coupled into similar parameters (PMV, PPD), however the velocity had the limits of 0.05 m/s, respective 0.2 m/s. For both velocity values the variation in operative temperatures along the vertical profile could be useful as an alternative to the CFD calculation of thermal comfort indices [3].
