eng Comparison of Retention and Selectivity Models for HILIC Separation of Native and Fluorescently Labelled Oligosaccharides The analysis of biologically important oligosaccharides usually utilizes chromatographic methods based on lectin affinity, porous graphitic carbon, or, due to the polar character of the compounds, hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC). In this work, we have investigated retention and selectivity of HILIC separation of selected maltooligosaccharides and glycans together with the implications for the use of developed method in two-dimensional separation system.
