eng Integrated Membrane Processes for Leachate Treatment The contribution deals with possible ways to achieve required quality of treated leachate wastewater via hybrid membrane microfiltration, reverse osmosis and electrodialysis. In this connection various types of membrane feed pretreatment are evaluated dominantly from the point of view of their influence on both the limitation of membrane fouling and osmotic pressure phenomena. Also the photocatalytic process is evaluated which can be used effectively as a membrane separation pre-treatment step or, more generally to enhance biodegradation of humic organic pollutants prior to biological water treatment.
