eng Application of Electrodialysis with Heterogeneous Bipolar Membrane for H2SO4 and NaOH Reclamation from Industrial Wastewater Heterogeneous bipolar membrane as well as new four compartment pilot module were developed and produced for pilot scale testing of treatment of wastewater coming from uranium production sludge water at GEAM Dolni Rozinka. Addition of electrodialysis with bipolar membrane (EDBM) would decrease operating costs of the treatment by decreasing of caustic soda and sulfuric acid purchase. Pilot scale results are presented in detail together with planned implementation of EDBM technology into existing sludge water treatment technology and approximate estimation of EDBM economy.
