eng Ni-SPECIES SUPPORTED ON Al-Ce-O MIXED OXIDES: CHARACTERIZATION AND CATALYTIC BEHAVIOR IN ODH OF ETHANE Ni-Al-Ce-O mixed oxide catalysts were prepared with the same Ni loading (11 wt. % Ni) and with various Al:Ce ratio. The prepared Al-Ce-O supports significantly differed in the textural properties, i.e. specific surface area, pore volume and distribution of pores. The effect of Al:Ce ratio on the distribution of Ni-species was studied by means of XRD, H2-TPR and DR UV-Vis spectroscopy. The catalytic activity and selectivity was compared at constant ethane conversion (X = 10 %). The highest selectivity was achieved over Ni/Al100-Ce0 catalyst (support was pure Al2O3). As the Al:Ce ratio of the supports decreased (increasing content of Ce) the selectivity dropped. The highest activity expressed as productivity was achieved over Ni/Al60-Ce40 catalysts (0.49 gC2=.gcat-1.h-1). Ni-Al-Ce-O; MIXED OXIDES; ODH; catalysis; ETHANE
