eng Electrochemical properties of boron-doped diamond electrodes with different boron content Doped diamond electrodes were introduced in the early 1980s. For their electroanalytical utilization, boron is the most often used as doping element. In this study, physical, chemical, and electrochemical properties of lab-made boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes, prepared by hot filaments chemical vapor deposition under the different conditions, have been investigated. The boron/carbon (B/C) ratio in the gas phase varied in the range from 0 to 20,000 ppm and the content of CH4 in H2 was 1 and 2 %. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy were used for characterization of BDD films. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) of the redox systems [Fe(CN)6]4−/3− and [Ru(NH3)6]3+/2+ or electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used for an electrochemical characterization of investigated electrodes.
