TiO2 nanotrubicové vrstvy byly povrstveny TiO2 o různých tloušťkách (od 2.8 nm do 22 nm) pomocí depozice atomárních vrstev (ALD) a porovnány s TiO2 nanotrubicovými vrstvami dodatečně dekoronovanými TiO2 nanočásticemi (pomocí obvyklého postupu s TiCl4) a take s nijak neupravenými vrstvami. Pomocí měření fotoproudů a cyklické voltametire bylo zjištěno, že optimálních charakteristik pro separaci náboje bylo dosaženo pro optimální tloušťku dodatečné TiO2 vrstvy o velikosti 11 nm. Velké rozdíly mezi ve flatband potenciálech a hustotě majoritních nosičů byly zjištěny podle měření Mott-Schottky. Rychlost fotokatalytického štěpení pro methylenovou modř velmi intenzivně narostly pro povrstevné nanotrubice oproti trubicím dekorovaným. eng	Highly efficient photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic anodic TiO2 nanotube layers with additional TiO2 coating	tIn this work, strong beneficial effects of thin and uniform TiO2coatings within TiO2nanotube layers forphotocurrent generation and photocatalytical degradation of methylene blue are demonstrated for thefirst time. TiO2nanotube layers were coated by TiO2of various thicknesses (from 2.8 nm to 22 nm) usingatomic layer deposition (ALD) and compared with TiO2nanotube layers decorated by TiO2nanoparticles(using established TiCl4treatment) and with blank (uncoated) layers. By means of photocurrent mea-surements and cyclic voltammetry, it is demonstrated that the most efficient charge carrier separationcan be achieved for TiO2nanotube layers with an optimal ALD TiO2coating thickness ≈11 nm. Signifi-cant differences in flatband potentials and carrier density among all nanotube layers were revealed byMott-Schottky measurements. Photocatalytic decomposition rates for methylene blue solutions weresignificantly enhanced for ALD TiO2coated TiO2nanotube layers compared to their uncoated or TiO2nanoparticles - decorated counterparts.
