eng Potential of Mixed Oxides as Catalyst for Methylester Production The Mg-Fe mixed oxides with different molar ratio of Mg/Fe (from 1:1 to 8:1) and temperature pre-treatment (0-900 °C) were prepared from hydrotalcite as a precursor by thermal pre-treatment. Hydrotalcites (material with layered structure) were synthesized by co-precipitation method in basic environment from two solutions: iron and magnesium nitrates. The formed mixed oxides (calcined hydrotalcites) were tested within the transesterification of rapeseed oil including the determination of leaching of magnesium and iron to the liquid products. All synthesized materials were characterized by several techniques such as XRD, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), specific surface area and SEM. transesterifikace; bionafta; separace; neutralizace
