eng Bronsted acidity of the layered zeolitic materials probed by CO: FTIR and theoretical study Brønsted acidity of the 3D UTL, MFI and MWW zeolites and their pillared 2D analogues was investigated by FTIR spectroscopy of the Brønsted Al(OH)Si group and adsorption complexes formed upon low-temperature adsorption of CO molecules. The same systems were also investigated computationally using the DFT method augmented with the DFT/CC corrections.
