eng Practical use of carbon nanoparticles as a transport efficiency modifier for ETV-ICP-TOF-MS Carbon nanoparticles were used as a transport modifier for ETV-ICP-MS in analysis of thallium in CRMs BCR 679 (white cabbage), in both digested and slurry form, and GBW 10052 (green tea) in slurry form. Furthermore, real samples of spruce needles were analyzed in slurry form. Gold was analyzed in CRM GBW 07601 (human hair) in the digested form to confirm that the transport effect of carbon nanoparticles is not specific for thallium and occurs for other elements as well.
