eng Synthesis and application of reactive photochromic indolinospiropyrane dyes Indolinospiropyranes are the compounds shown in Scheme 1, which on exposure to UV irradiation reversible changes their chemical structure and thus their optical properties or color tint. The color change occurs by normal sunlight irradiation in units of seconds, and after removal of radiation source, the decolorisation becomes in tens of second. The work is focused on synthesis and identification of new derivatives of photochromic indolinospiropyranes whose skeleton is modified by reactive groups, capable of fix the dye to a colored substrate and solubilizing groups causing solubility in water. The aim of the work is to further coloring of synthetic fibers with photochromic dispersion dyes and natural fibers with photochromic reactive dyes and study the effect of substitution on the spectral characteristics of the prepared compound. However, indolinospiropyranes are subjected to a photochromic change only in solution but not in the form of a dry powder or after binding with usually reactive groups to the colored materials. Excitation energy that is needed to open the molecule will disappear due to intermolecular bonds either between the dye and the dye, or between the dye and the colored material. The subject of the thesis is the effort of synthesis of such photochromic colors, which photochemically react on the colored material in a dry state. The result of the research is mainly study of the photochromic effect of colored textile. Indolinospiropyrane dyes; photochromic; substitution effect
