eng Acid-Responsive Donor-Substituted Triphenylamine Chromophores Currently, new organic materials for optoelectronic applications with tunable properties are extensively investigated. D-π-A chromophores belong to such materials with variable donors, acceptors and π-bridges and manifold applications in OLEDs, DSSCs, NLO, and emissive materials for sensors. Triphenylamine (TPA) is widely used as central donating unit of push-pull molecules. Upon its decoration with peripheral pyridine acceptors, we have prepared acid-responsive push-pull systems, that may change color of the emission from white to blue or yellow-orange. Further, we have also investigated influence of additional donors, such as methoxy, carbazole and methoxythiophene, on properties of TPA-pyridine chromophores.
