eng Fundamental Aspects of Property Tuning in Push-Pull Molecules: Towards Pyrazine Photoredox Catalyst with Tailored Properties The contribution will focus on main principles of property tuning in push-pull molecules, especially in terms of structure-property relationships. Successful application of push-pull molecules in photoredox catalysis will be emphasized. 5,6-Disubstituted pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile bearing 5 methoxythiophen-2-yl substituents has been developed and will be presented as efficient visible light induced photoredox catalysts. Its catalytic performance will be demonstrated in cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC), chemodivergent CDC reaction utilizing itaconimide, indole oxidations towards isatin or formylformanilides and also enantioselective C-H olefinations.
