eng Comparison of different electrode materials and organic solvents in simultaneous determination of retinyl acetate and tocopheryl acetate This scientific study describes a comparison of different electrode materials and organic solvents in simultaneous voltammetric determination of retinyl acetate and tocopheryl acetate based on their anodic oxidation using square wave voltammetry. Surprisingly, the highest sensitivity was obtained at carbon paste electrode modified with 40% sodium dodecyl sulphate (by mass). However, almost twice shorter linear ranges for both analytes were observed in comparison with commonly used glassy carbon electrode in 99.9% acetonitrile containing 0.1 mol L-1 lithium perchlorate. Moreover, it was found that other organic solvents can be potentially utilized as working media.
