eng Elimination of Nitrogen Oxides over Al-rich Co-*BEA in SCR Using Hydrocarbons as a Reduction Agent: from Structure of Active Site to Industrial Process Al-rich *BEA was hydrothermally synthesized using a template-free procedure with seeding of calcined beta crystals and an aluminosilicate mixture prepared from NaAlO2, fumed silica and NaOH. Zeolites were characterised by XRD, N2 adsorption at -196 °C, SEM, 27Al and 29Si MAS NMR and FTIR spectroscopy of adsorbed d3-acetonitrile. Co ions were introduced by ion-exchange with Co(II) aqueous solutions. The structure of Co sites was analysed by UV-VIS, XPS, and FTIR spectroscopy and H2-TPR.
