These can find its specific applications as active components of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), photovoltaic cells (OPVCs), dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and hole transporting materials as well as materials suitable for bioimaging, drug transport into the body, or in nanotechnologies. Push-pull chromophores are usually formed by C-C cross-coupling reactions, namely Sonogashira, Suzuki-Miyaura, Wittig reaction etc.. Reactions forming C-N bonds such as Ullmann or Buchwald-Hartwig reaction can be used as well. Following our previous research, two novel tripodal triphenylamines (TPAs) were synthetized using Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. Structures of these TPAs are composed of the central triphenylamine unit, peripheral nitro group and two pyridine 1 or pyrene units 2 . It has been found that the presence of the pyrene units significantly increases thermal stability of target chromophore. At the same time both compounds showed aggregation-induced emission (AIE).	triphenylamine; pyridine; pyrene; chromophore; AIE
