eng Optimization of working conditions in voltammetric detection of β-carotene This study describes a comparison of various organic solvents, namely acetone, isopropyl alcohol, acetonitrile, toluene, ethanol and tert-butyl methyl ether used in the voltammetric detection of ß-carotene. The method is based on anodic oxidation of the analyte using square wave voltammetry at glassy carbon electrode, performed in particular organic solvent or in the mixtures with addition of 0.1 M LiClO4. The influence of parameters of square wave voltammetry on signal of β-carotene were studied as well.
