slo Voltammetric determination of pesticide dichlofluanid on a boron-doped diamond electrode. Dichlofluanid (DFA) is an organofluorine, organochlorine compound and a phenylsulfamide fungicide. Since DFA act as acaricide and an antifungal agrochemical, it is widely used to control many fungal diseases in plants, as well as in wood preservatives.One of the most stable electrode materials that allows electrochemical detection in both the cathodic and anodic areas of the potential window is boron-doped diamond (BDDE). Such electrode provides two oxidation peaks of DFA at +1.28 V and +1.76 V. The less positive peak in lightly acidic pH range (Britton-Robinson buffer, pH 6), where current responds showed good stability, was used for DFA determination. Best results were achieved with DPV when the LOD was obtained of 0.33 µM. This method was applied in analysis of spiked samples of natural water with very good recovery (98.5–101.7%).
