eng Crystal growth and viscosity in Ge-Se chalcogenide glass-forming materials prepared in different forms The contribution is focused on the investigation of crystal growth and viscosity in Ge25Se75 chalcogenide glass-forming material prepared in the form of bulk glass and thin films. The viscosity is followed by thermomechanical analysis in the bulk material. In thin films, the viscosity data are obtained by nanoindentation and by following the flattening of surface structures embossed into the surface of the thin films. The viscosity data provide comparable values in thin film and bulk with relatively low fragility index. Using the viscosity data, the crystal growth in Ge25Se75 bulk and thin films are analyzed. The crystal growth was studied using infrared microscopy. The correlation between the crystal growth rate data and viscosities provides a strong deviation from the Stokes-Einstein relation. The decoupling between crystal growth rates and viscosities is used to correct the basic crystal growth models that can be used to describe the growth data and predict the crystal growth rates in wide a temperature region. viscosity; crystal growth; glass; Ge-Se
