eng Development of a new screening technique for burning rate modification assessment In order to develop a new and faster screening technique to determine the suitability of ballistic modifiers a testing closed vessel was used. A mixture of ammonium perchlorate and burning rate modifiers was used for these tests. The prepared samples were measured as powder material. To compare efficiency of each modifier used a pressure-time profile and pressure rate was determined. Catalyst that, accelerate the burning rate of ammonium perchlorate was used to verify reliability of the method.
