Within the framework of this work, an electrochemical behavior of a systemic fungicide metalaxyl was studied for the first time using a boron-doped diamond electrode. A novel voltammetric method for its determination was developed and, due to low concentrations of pesticides in natural waters, a sample pre-concentration procedure was also proposed. In addition to the classic arrangement of an electrochemical cell with a bulk working electrode, the possibility of using screen-printed sensors and a flow system was also tested.
