eng Determination of the sum of selected estrogens in natural waters using voltammetry This work studied voltammetric determination of the sum of the most frequently occurring estrogenic substances in waters. The differential pulse voltammetric method was used with a boron-doped diamond electrode as the working electrode. The oxidation of the substances was recorded in an alkaline medium (pH 9) in the presence of acetonitrile. The limits of quantification for the individual substances obtained by the developed method were 0.22 µmol L−1 for estrone, 0.28 µmol L−1 for 17-β-estradiol, 0.25 µmol L−1 for estriol, and 0.27 µmol L−1 for 17-α-ethynylestradiol. The proposed method was applied using the concentration method to the analysis of the surface water.
