eng A new hollow fiber liquid-phase microextraction method for determination of antidepressant drug trazodone in urine sample A novel hollow fiber liquid-phase microextraction (HF-LPME) method combined with square wave voltammetry (SWV) on screen-printed boron-doped diamond electrodes (SP-BDDE) was developed for sensitive determination of the antidepressant trazodone (TRZ) in human urine. TRZ was extracted through an isoamyl benzoate-supported liquid membrane into an acidic acceptor solution, followed by voltammetric detection. Optimization of experimental parameters led to excellent sensitivity, with a detection limit of 20 nmol L-1 in urine—significantly lower than previously reported electrochemical methods. The method demonstrated high potential for clinical monitoring with minimal solvent use and material consumption. trazodone, hollow fiber microextraction, voltammetry, boron-doped diamond electrode, urine analysis, antidepressants, green analytical method
