eng Biomimetic Activity of Selected Copper Complexes In this contribution, the four dinuclear copper(II) complexes are presented as promising biomimetic system for catalysis of dye residue degradation and drug synthesis. These complexes are synthesized from two types of ligands, three of which consist of 2,6-bis[(N-methylpiperazine-1-yl)methyl]-4-formyl phenol ligand and one of which consists of 2,6-bis[(N-methylpiperazine-1-yl)methyl]-4-formyl phenol dimethylacetal ligand. The effect of the structure of these complexes and the presence of water in the working solution on the efficiency of catalysis was also studied.
