eng Voltammetric approach for determination of herbicide dicamba in environmental samples employing boron-doped diamond as a sensor A new voltammetric method for determining the herbicide dicamba (DCB) was developed using a boron-doped diamond electrode. This study provides the first comprehensive characterization of DCB’s voltammetric behavior and proposes its oxidation mechanism based on electrolysis followed by GC-MS analysis. Optimized DPV and SWV techniques enabled sensitive and accurate quantification over a wide concentration range. The method was successfully validated through the analysis of commercial formulations and spiked river water samples after ion-exchange preconcentration, demonstrating high selectivity even in the presence of other pesticides. Comparison with HPLC-DAD confirmed the agreement of results and highlighted the potential of voltammetry with screen-printed BDDEs for miniaturized and environmental applications. dicamba, voltammetry, boron-doped diamond electrode, pesticide determination
